Not good for very young teethers who use pacifiers normally January 1, 2009 Be warned if you are buying this for an early teething baby. I bought this in advance for my little one, thinking that it would be a couple months until he needed it. Whoops, he started teething just this past week at 3 1/2 months. I got this out and he doesn't know what to make of it. It's too large for his mouth. He is used to a pacifier and tries to suck on the RaZberry. Then he spits it out or it falls out. Although he is able to grasp & hold a rattle and throw it around, he doesn't have the manual dexterity necessary to help hold the RaZberry teether in his mouth for it to work. We try to hold it up for him, but his little tongue pushes it out. Right now what is working are plain old teething rings directly from the freezer. We help him hold on to those and he'll chomp on them for some time.
teether December 24, 2008 though it resembles a biba (pacifier) a little bit, it definitely isn't one. my poor daughter saw this and immediately put it in her mouth like a pacifier and it's just way too big for that. also, it doesn't chill well. but it's great for when she wants to chew on something all over (like the handle).
LOVE IT! December 16, 2008 My baby loves this teether out off all of her teethers this is the one she wants the most. I love that I can freeze it. I ended up buying more just so we could have some in the freezer while she is chewing on one. The entire thing is soft she chews on every part of it. I got this becasue my baby only chews on normal passys, this will hold up a lot longer then a passy with the way she chews it.
Some people said its a little big, it is but its made for an older infints mouth it's a teether not a passy. Just the same I still love it!
Where was this when I had my other kids? :)
Great Teether! December 12, 2008 My 4-month-old daughter loves this teether. She would always try chewing on the handle of her pacifier when her gums were bothering her, so we gave her this instead and she loves it because she can hold on to it easily and it's all the same type of material, so it doesn't matter which end she chews on. Highly recommended!
My 6 month old loves this teether! December 8, 2008 This is a great product, my 6 month old loves chewing on it. I was searching for a teether that was easy for her to handle and did not have water in it. The textured raspberry design really feels good on their sore gums. I've gotten several remarks on it saying what a cool paci it is but then I tell them it's actually a teether. My daughter never did take a paci, but she loves to take this thing and chew the heck out of it.
